History Of Rapture

Rapture Dance Intensive is an intimate, in-studio intensive that brings a staff of well-respected, professional teachers. We pride ourselves on reaching students of all ages and levels and inspiring them with the art of dance. No student will feel defeated at Rapture… our staff strives to help mold mature artists by finding that unique something, in each of your students.

Past Highlights

2007 - Rapture launches its first intensive at Gotta Dance in Sterling Heights, MI

2009 - Rapture adds "The Rapture Experience" to its intensives, which brings professional choreography to their students.

2010 - Rapture creates its very own advanced one-day intensive… by invitation only… The Verve.

2011 - RDI proudly announces Coalesce, its first self-created live show, designed to celebrate the art of dance and community

2011 - RDI expands out of Michigan and ventures into Minnesota and Indiana.

2012 - With 5 intensives in their summer tour, The Verve and Coalesce, Rapture creates its own professional dance company: Rapture Dance Project. Rapture Dance Project creates and performs its first full-length show, City Lights.

2013 - RDI expands into Illinois.

2013 - Rapture Dance Intensive decides to take their education in art one step further by creating Rapture-U.
