Shauna Zambelli
was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where she trained at Suzettes Masters of Dance. Shauna continued her training at the Performing Arts Center in Van Nuys California. Some of Shauna’s professional dance credits include, Fox network’s Ally McBeal and The Tracey Ullman Show, Microsoft Industrial for Xbox, Casino Windsor Show Time Lounge, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and the one and only Odyssey Dance Theatre, where she spent the last 5 years performing and touring. Shauna also found her love for musical theatre by joining the casts of “Chicago” where she played Liz at the Baldwin Theatre, “Cabaret” at Avon Players where she played Rosie and “Cats” at Tuacahn where she played Etcetera. As much as she loves performing, her heart is also stolen by the students she teaches. Shauna founded an in-studio dance intensive called Rapture Dance Intensive in 2006 that she travels with. She also just recently started to teach on the convention circuit with Fall of Fame. Shauna loves to teach and choreograph for kids of all levels and ages and enjoys giving back for all that she has been blessed with.

Matt Dorame
comes to us from Phoenix, Arizona where he studied and trained at Ballet Arizona, The Dance Connection, and Arizona School for the Performing Arts, all nationally ranked. At an early age, he traveled and toured with the Los Angeles Classical Ballet to China, and later with West Coast Dance Explosion and Co Dance as a featured assistant. Matt has trained at many prestigious summer institutions including American Ballet Theater and Boston Ballet. After attending the University of Arizona on full scholarship, Matt joined Odyssey Dance Theater. During his five years with Odyssey, Matt performed principal roles while touring New York, California, and Europe.  Along with that, he has enjoyed traveling regularly throughout U.S. cities as a contemporary teacher for L.A. Dance Magic. Some of Matt's most recent credits include featured dancer on MTV's American Mall, lead dancer in the Shawn Borrow music video "Army of Kings", and top 13 contestant on FOX's So You Think You Can Dance. Matt has also worked to assist SYTYCD choreographers Mia Micheals, Tyce Diorio, and Dee Caspary.  Matt currently lives in New York were he has just finished a season with the renowned Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet.

Sarah Aezer
fell in love with dancing at a young age and began training extensively in jazz, ballet, contemporary, musical theater, hip-hop, tap, and tumbling. She received her training from Center Stage Performing Arts Studios in Orem, UT. She was selected to perform the role of 'Clara' in Ballet West's production of 'The Nutcracker' in Salt Lake City as well as on tour with the company. She began to pursue dancing and singing on screen, landing roles in music videos and movies including Disney's High School Musical and High School Musical 2.  At the youthful age of 16, Sarah joined Odyssey Dance Theater. Here her passion for dance and acting really took flight. She was able to work with many celebrated choreographers including Roni Koresh, Mandy Moore, Dee Caspary, Liz Imperio, Justin Giles, and others. Her inspiring journey with Odyssey lasted for 5 years and took her many places. She feels fortunate to have danced not only locally, but nationally and internationally as well, including 5 European tours and a tour to China, coinciding with the 2008 Summer Olympics. Not only has Sarah found enjoyment in dancing, but along the way, she found a great love for teaching. It is so fulfilling to her to be able to inspire others, give back to those who've inspired her, and to perpetuate this beautiful art of dance.


Dayna O’Connell
grew up in Sandy, Utah where she studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and tap.  She has received many technique awards and is musically trained.  As a senior in high school she was accepted into the ballet department at the University of Utah where she received the Willam F. Christensen scholarship.  She has performed numerous lead roles with Utah Ballet under the direction of Attila Ficzere and Conrad Ludlow, and completed her BFA in Ballet in 2006.  

Recently she has been featured in two of Dance Spirit Magazine's Photos of the Day (photographer: Chris Peddecord) and modeled for XANGO's 2012 health and wellness campaign.  She is currently dancing with Odyssey Dance Theatre where she has been performing and touring nationally and internationally since 2008.  Dayna has been teaching since 2003 and this is her third year with Rapture Dance Intensive!

Natalie Reid
was raised in Seattle, Washington where she trained at Turning Pointe Dance Center.  She graduated with honors from Chapman University with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising in 2008.  While in school she trained with Anaheim Ballet during their 2007-2008 season and her favorite works include Nutcracker and Balanchine's Serenade.  Natalie performed in Mark Meismer's Evolution Dance Company where she worked with highly acclaimed choreographers including Dee Caspary, Jason Parsons, Liz Imperio and Justin Giles.  She trained at Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, California, under both Mandy Moore and Dee Caspary.  Natalie has had the amazing opportunity to perform many pieces of their work in a variety of different venues including Choreographers Carnival in Los Angeles and the Elan Awards in New York City.   For the past two years she has been a member of Justin Giles' company Soul Escape, and she recently had the opportunity to assist both Mia Michaels and Mandy Moore on the hit TV show "So You Think You Can Dance." Natalie currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she is a member of Odyssey Dance Theater and teaches at Center Stage Performing Arts Studio.

Gev Manoukian
of Armenian descent, was born and raised in Kazakhstan. In his senior year of school, Gev formed the first break-dancing group in his hometown. Together, they learned their moves by watching videos and through trial and error. In 2003 Gev moved to Salt Lake City, UT. He soon found a local break-dancing/hip-hop group and joined the ranks, picking up where her left off in his hometown.  The group, Extreme Dance Studio, introduced him to the world of hip-hop. With his natural ability to pick up new dance movements, and his zeal to dance, the new genera took flight; bringing him to a new level in dancing.  As he continued developing his dancing abilities, he soon discovered a new transition in his dancing, the combination of break-dance, hip-hop, and classical movements all rolled into one.  Gev engages audiences with his self-taught moves and passion. In 2004 Gev auditioned for the Hollywood block buster, High School Musical 2, and was chosen as a featured dancer.  Two years later, he was cast as a principal dancer in the movie, The American Mall. In 2008 Gev’s dancing talents took him to the nationwide auditions of the Fox reality, hit, TV show, So You Think You Can Dance.  Gev’s unique, versatile, and powerful dancing abilities, won the judges and America over, as he danced his way to the top 10 dancers. Recently he performed with Whitney Houston and could be seen on some of the Disney and Nickelodeon shows.

Jen Osorio
grew up dancing and training at The Dance Club in Orem, UT.  After graduating high school, she joined Odyssey Dance Theatre and has been dancing and training with them for 8 years.  Through Odyssey, she has been able to work with and perform choreography by Mandy Moore, Dee Caspary, Liz Imperio, Roni Koresch, Mia Michaels, Bonnie Story, Justin Giles, and Jason Parsons.  She traveled to Soel, Korea with Jason Parsons, and has been a part of Odyssey’s European tour, which includes, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Luxembourg, has performed in Costa Rica, New York, Los Angeles and various states throughout the US.  She has also enjoyed film work as principal dancer in Legally Blonde II and a feature dancer in High School Musical as well.  She has also been a part of Justin Giles company, Soul Escape, for the past six years, which is now based in L.A. and is currently working with them for their upcoming show in July.

Charlie Rinehart
Charlie Rinehart has been coaching speech and acting for over ten years. He has coached high school forensics (competitive acting and speaking) in Michigan since the year 2000. In that time he has successfully coached two State champions, including a duet acting performance of Don Hertzfeldt Lily and Jim. As a performer, Charlie has worked with multiple independent improvisational groups and traveled with the Playback theatre company "Six Figures". On the main stage Charlie has performing mainly in independent productions around the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area. His directing credits include an adaptation of the short story A&P, as well as adaptations of the novels Life of Pi, and I Love You, Beth Cooper which were put together for the stage. Charlie has a bachelor's degree from Oakland University and a Masters degree from Eastern Michigan University with a focus in Interpretation and Performance Studies. Currently he is a Special Lecturer in the Communication and Journalism department at Oakland University. He teaches Group Dynamics, Public Speaking and other Performance and Communication courses. Charlie has been nominated twice for the “Excellence in Teaching” award at Oakland University and feels his teaching philosophy is comprised of heavy student involvement and strong interaction between theory and application. He applies this philosophy to all of his teaching and coaching. Along with REALLY enjoying coaching, teaching and working behind the scenes, Charlie’s true passion is performance! He enjoys working with aspiring actors, singers, and dancers to assist them in developing interpretation skills to help with emotional connections to their work.
