Haley Kostas is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator based out of the United States. Haley attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City where she studied Ballet and Modern through the Conservatory of Music and Dance.

Professionally, she has danced in works by choreographers: Peter Chu, Justin Giles, Marguerite Derricks, Jaci Royal, Andrew Winghart, Gregg Russell, Adam Parsons, Dee Caspary, Elissa Edwards and many others. Haley has appeared in live performances including; Entourage, Snoop Dogg’s “Dogg After Dark,” George Lopez at Night, Guy’s Choice Awards, Spike TV, the 7th Annual WeHo Awards, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE - season 2, and the film “Fired Up.” She’s also performed with many Musical Artists including Katy Perry, Capital Cities and Flight of The Concords. Her Commercial Credits include Nip/Tuck Promo season 6, Microsoft’s, “Most Talented Hottie” and LG Phone.

Haley has worked and performed with companies such as Royal Flux, Odyssey Dance Theatre, SoulEscape The Company , Capezio Ace Awards, Heartlines Dance Company, The N-Vitational, West Side Dance Project, The Commonality Dance Company, and Tap Sounds Underground.

In addition, she has assisted with numerous productions including pilots for Dick Clark Productions, live performances for the Britney Spears “Circus Tour” at Madison Square Garden, and the TV series “SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.” Her latest choreographic work can be seen in the Feature Film “DANCE OFF.”

As a teacher, Haley’s past and current credits include serving as an adjunct professor at the UMKC Dance Conservatory, and as a faculty member at Kansas City Ballet, Founder of Between The Lines Progressive, Quixotic Fusion, SoulEscape Summer Event, Adrenaline Dance – Remix, Hall of Fame Dance Challenge, Boogiezone, and Muse Dance Project.

Most recently, Haley trained in the UK at the London Contemporary Dance School, and with Sarah Dowling with punchdrunk, as well as Sarah Reynolds with Nederlands Dans Theater. Currently, Haley is taking time off from teaching to write and dance while directing Defy Dance Project, a non-profit pre-professional dance company.
